Schools and College Curriculum Review

The UK government has announced a comprehensive review of the schools' and colleges' curriculum, inviting the public to share their views on what education should look like in the coming years. This review is a rare opportunity for students, parents, educators, and community members to influence the curriculum that shapes the nation’s schools and colleges.

With a deadline for feedback set for 22nd November 2024, the review seeks to gather diverse insights on the effectiveness of the current curriculum, explore potential gaps, and identify improvements that will equip future generations with the skills and knowledge they need.

On behalf of young people, 42nd Street is joining the conversation by submitting a response that reflects the perspectives of young people. To make this submission as inclusive as possible, we are calling on young people across the community to share their opinions and ideas. Contributions from youth will be used to help create a response that speaks directly to their needs, expectations, and aspirations for education.

"This is a real chance for young people to share their experiences and ideas on what education should look like" shares Ratha, from our School and Colleges team, "We’re hopeful about the change we can make by amplifying young voices and ensuring they’re included in this crucial review."
