If you are making contact regarding Safe Zones with a query or referral please note our operational hours over the festive period are:
- Closed from 25th December to 29th December inclusive.
- Any referrals or emails received after 3pm on 24th December will not be seen or picked up for screening until 30th December.
- Open 30th and 31st December:
- Any referrals or emails received after 3pm on 31st December will not be seen or picked up for screening until 2nd January.
- Open from 2nd January.
Please check your most recent capacity update to check whether we have capacity for referrals.
Please note that if you have not had confirmation from us that a referral has been accepted and allocated, then transfer of care has not been completed.

Our telephone lines are available to answer queries regarding:
• Young people, parents, carers or professionals calling to ask advice or to request support.
• Updates on referrals.
• General ‘day-to-day enquiries’ about our services.
From the week commencing 4th November, our phone line (0161 228 7321) will be open three times a week, on the days and times below:
• Mondays: 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
• Wednesday: 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
• Fridays: 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
