For any young person over 17 years who would like support with depression, anxiety and stress related issues. The aim of the group is to explore different and new ways of coping as well as thinking of ways to support emotional wellbeing. The group usually runs on a weekday evening over 8 weeks.
We have run the same course here at 42nd Street a number of times and every young person that’s attended has said that even though they were nervous about joining a group at the beginning, they all felt it that the quality of their wellbeing had improved by the end of the sessions. Participants also said that they had learnt new ways of coping and dealing with low mood and anxiety and described the group as very helpful and supportive.
