Please circulate this information to your contacts and individuals who may be interested in some free training. Please note the training is free for those staff working in the voluntary sector, students and volunteers. There will a charge for those working in the statutory sector (£95 full day training/£60 half day).
Our ‘Headz Up’ training is funded by Comic Relief, it is designed to equip local professionals and volunteers working with young people with improved knowledge, skills and confidence in responding to the mental health needs of young people. The training will be targeted at workers in frontline roles and who are facing increasing challenges in responding to young people experiencing mental health problems. The training available will include areas such as: Understanding Self Harm; Stress and Common Mental Health Problems, Understanding Body Image and Self Esteem and Working Creatively with Young People.
