42nd Street’s services to young people include:

  • Mental health needs assessment;
  • Counselling & therapy
  • One to one psycho-social support and Advocacy;
  • Group work;
  • Drop-ins;
  • Creative programme and arts space, The Horsfall;
  • Projects and activities;
  • Leadership, volunteering and peer research opportunities;
  • Peer Ambassadors programme – campaigns, consultations, working with the media and awareness raising activity

We also have a number of inclusion projects:

The Disabled Young People’s Project which offers:

  • Individual support with a specialist worker
  • Creative group work and activities

Inside Out which offers:

  • Support to young people from Manchester who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or questioning their sexuality or gender identity.
  • Advice, individual support and groups.
  • Digital arts project
